10th Annual Ion Channel Retreat Vancouver BC, Canada • June 25 – 27, 2012 Read the 2011 Ion Channel Retreat Review Aurora’s annual Retreat welcomes scientists from a variety of research laboratories representing the full spectrum of non-profit, academic, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. The 2012 Ion Channel Retreat is expected to showcase both the importance of new drug discovery research, as well as the importance of producing new screening technologies, while maintaining or improving safety and efficacy of target compounds. The global representation of ion channel researchers at the 2010 Annual Ion Channel Retreat proved that research is continuing, and new technologies continue to be launched. Held in Vancouver, BC from June 25th to June 27th, 2012, the 10th Annual Retreat will welcome scientists from a variety of research laboratories representing non-profit, academic, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Retreat Objective The mission of this conference is to encourage scientific discourse spanning the spectrum of ion channel disciplines. Researchers from both academia and industry from around the world will be able to establish connections and exchange fresh ideas to accelerate ion channel research, high throughput screening, safety screening and drug discovery in an enjoyable and relaxing environment.

Meeting Format: The 2012 Ion Channel Retreat is a 3-day meeting. Program sessions cover several diverse areas of ion channel research. Speaking presentations begin on Monday June 25th and end mid-afternoon on Wednesday, June 27th. Poster presentations will be available for viewing during all session breaks.

Call for Papers

Please contact the submissions board directly at retreat@aurorabiomed.com for further information regarding speaking opportunities. Upon submission, authors give Aurora Biomed the right to publish abstracts in any format before, during, and after the meeting.

Abstracts must be between 100 and 300 words and must be submitted in an editable text format (.doc, docx or .txt). Please state which program session(s) you feel your presentation is applicable to.
