A: Yes, Artron can detect Omicron according to the manufacturer’s declaration.

Q: Am I eligible to buy the 5-pack kit?
A: The 5-pack can only be shipped to BC, AB, ON, and SK until policies in the other provinces change.

Q: What does it mean the test can only be performed by trained professionals?
A: Anyone who read through the product instruction sheet and watched the instruction video of these kits is considered a trained professional.

Q: What does it mean if two lines show up on my antigen test?

Q: What do I do if my antigen result is positive?
A: Please book a local molecular test to confirm your result and remain quarantined according to local policies.

Q: What is the difference between antigen test and antibody test?
A: Antigen test can detect active COVID-19 infection. An antibody test detects past infection.

Q: Can I book a PCR test?
A: No, we are a test distributor that provides tests for screening purposes. We do not offer appointments or certifications for travel purposes. Please visit a local clinic to book a molecular test.

Q: Can the antibody test tell if detected antibodies are from a COVID vaccine or from having the virus?
A: As per manufacturer instructions, the antibody test detects the presence of antibodies against COVID-19. However, we are not able to tell if the presence of antibodies is due to past infection or response to vaccination.

Q: Which test kit is the most accurate?
A: The sensitivity is all above 95% when using the nasal pharyngeal method; the whole test can be read within 15-30 minutes. You can refer to the specifications here.

Q: Can I get a manual?
A: The kits come with the Manual and guidance sheet. There is also an electronic version online.

Q: Do I need to go to my doctor’s office for the test?
A: Not necessarily. It is recommended to do this test under the supervision of a healthcare professional. So that person can read it for you.

Q: Can I do the test on the elderly?
A: The antigen test kits are supposed to work well with the elder too, as long as they are ok with the sampling method most of these kits go by nasopharyngeal, which some people may consider a bit invasive.

Q: Can we use these kits in Africa?
A: We only sell our kits in North America.



Q: What is the travel regulation?
A: We are a distributor of COVID testing kits. We are not authorized to give medical advice to visitors on our page. Our blogs are written by guest writers or members of our research team. If you would like to speak to them please fill in a contact form with your specific question and we will forward it.

Q: Do you do testing?
A: We only sell the product and don’t offer testing/travel certificates here. If you are from Vancouver we can refer you to a partner lab and you can get a small discount. Please look for a local clinic in your area.

Q: Why some products are not available online?
A: They are only available for bulk purchase / not for public use. Please contact us for further information.

Q: What is the MOQ for discount/wholesale price?
A: For bulk inquiries, please submit an inquiry form, our sales associate will reach out to you shortly.

Q: How do I indicate that I want to pick up?
A: To qualify for local pickup, the address you use to order must be within BC. You will be able to select the local pickup option after you’ve entered a valid address and postal code on the checkout page. For more information, please click here.

Q: When is the cut-off time?
A: The cut-off time is Monday-Friday, 10:30 am (PST). Same-Day Delivery Orders placed before the cut-off time will be delivered that day. Orders placed after that time will be processed the next business day.

Q: I didn’t receive an order confirmation email, what should I do?
A: This is probably because your email provider is putting our emails in your “Spam” or “Junk Mail” folder. If not, we may be experiencing a high number of orders. If after 1-2 business days you still have not received a confirmation, please contact our customer service team via info@aurorabiomed.com. Our team can verify the email address and ensure you receive a confirmation email.

Q: Why am I not getting my package on time (FedEx priority overnight)?
A: Orders placed after our cut-off time (Monday-Friday, 10:30 am PST) will be processed the next business day. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends and holidays. Also, the holiday season is approaching and seasonal weather events may cause delays for shipments.

Q: What is the refund policy?
A: Unfortunately all rapid kits are final sale. If the order is not shipped, we can arrange a refund with a service fee (around 4%). However, if the order is already processed and shipped, we cannot arrange a refund. Depending on the bank’s processing time, it can take anywhere from 3-5 business days to show up on your bank account. If you have not seen it after 7 business days, please do not hesitate to contact us.
